Convincing my mother to allow me to come to the U.S was one of the hardest obstacles I ever had. When I decided to go to the U.S to complete studying, my mother didn’t accept that. She was concerned about me staying alone. I tried to convince her in many ways. Although my father was the biggest supporter, my mother was still holding her opinion. Until I came up with the idea that my brother come with me, She didn’t accept it totally, but she said that she will think about it. After a week she was totally convinced, and she made me happy when she said yes J
I'm glad your mother agreed to let you come to the U.S. It is a wonderful opportunity to travel abroad and experience new things. Your mother loves you dearly and is worried about your safety. I hope you talk to her often so she won't worry so much. :)
